JS550 hull extension
Hi I have a 85 JS550 I just bought. I have not riden it yet but I have seen it run. I was not able to ride it the day I bought it because I had and injured leg and could not go in the water. It looked like it ran great and has a lot of performance parts on it. I have been cleaning it up and getting ready to go to the lake this week and noticed that one side of the hull is longer than the other and looked online and saw that there should be a hull extension on each side. The right one is missing. I guess I am wondering what they do and if it is a big deal to ride the ski with one missing. Should I wait until I can get a new one for the right side and what holds it on? Any advise appreciated. Thanks
