I have an '05 Superjet pretty much stock. I put it in the shop for some mods; a pipe, reeds, a head, upgrade the ignition, a ride plate and re jet the carbs. I had already done the prop. Can any of you guys tell me what I'm missing on the list before they put it back together. Any suggestions please.

I would get a different intake grate from stock.
Zero degree bars are nice.

An aftermarket SJ pipe comes with its own exhaust manifold.
Additionally, there is nothing wrong with the stock dual 38 manifold.
I am not even sure you can get an aftermarket dual 38 manifold.
An aftermarket waterbox is pissing money into the wind.

I was kind of under the impression that the new exhaust would negate the need for another water box. Right or wrong?
I was kind of surprised to find out what a dog a SJ was without mods. I thought it would be pretty quick from the factory but they have really been de tuned. I can't wait to get it back from the shop and hit the surf.

Do not waste money on an aftermarket waterbox, at least not at this point.
There is nothing wrong with the stocker.

FP B-pipe and MSD Enhancer, Worx intake grate.

Factory Pipe will send you the proper jets or if you buy a used pipe FP can tell what jets to put in. I'm running a very similar set up in my 06' SJ and it rips. Matt won't steer you wrong. He has paid is SJ dues.
