Default Scupper Valve

I cannot decide between a scupper valve or a Rule 1100 GPH bilge. I love submarining my ski ('09 superjet) and i cant decide whether to trust a scupper valve to not stick open, or to hope i dont kill my battery with a bilge. Has anybody ever heard of a scupper valve sticking open and flooding a ski?

Scupper valves suck! I have heard nothing but bad things about them. What you could look into is a duck bill drain plug. Those work great and do not use any power at all. I might actually buy 2 sets for both of my ski's this year. I believe you can find them on ebay for around $30.00 to $40.00.

Actually, it's not ebay. It's this place that sells them.
