hello, just got a Hurricane... need to know if someone has some pics of the RIDEPLATE ext. mod, and the SPONSON mod...

I can not find anything on either one of these... Can someone please post some pics of there rideplates, and sponsons.. Or direct me where to find some of these things...

As you saw, I'm working on my first PWC, a 1996 Hurricane 700, so don't know what to look for as far as mods go. What would I be looking for and I'll post some pics.

Is your air box stock? This one has K&N style filters and I'll bet that caused this thing to run lean. #2 plug looks pretty white with a tan spot.

What did you have to give for your machine, if you don't mind me asking? I wonder if it will be worth it to this guy to sink a thousand into an engine, considering the age.
