Default 2001 Yama XL800 Stock, question?

-All stock machine
-new plugs gapped at .026
-90 octane fuel, reg 2 cycle oil (not synthetic).

Out of the hole this machine is a bit slow, but once your doing about 20mph you gun it and it goes. Top end is 50mph with 1 person on it. Over all im happy with it, runs great, pulls 2 on a tube with a looker pretty well. Takes off slow with 3 adults on (no tube).

Would a Free Flow Exhaust Kit help this thing take off a little bit, or could would something else help more.? Id like to keep the cost down tho.

Thanks
Steve
