Default speedometer on a jetski?

I know that most people think this is pointless but since I'm into doing stuff for the hell of it... has anyone ever put an aftermarket boat speedometer on a jetski? (http://www.nexternal.com/gpmstore/images/0767513.jpg)

In theory it would work, i guess, but what I'm having trouble with is figuring out how and where i would mount the tubing. If anyone has some POSITIVE insight on this topic i would love to hear it.
