That year marked the IJSBA's 30th Anniversary of the PWC World Finals. The product of Jettribe's love and dedication to PWC racing, we hope the Carbon 7 PWC Helmet paves the way for a new breed of PWC gear that will finally remove the compromise that PWC riders have had to live with by protecting themselves with gear not made for PWC riding. The Carbon 7 isn't just a looker. There's a lot of innovation that goes into this helmet, like combining the high tech big hitters of strength and lightweightness into a 65/35 ratio carbon/kevlar outer shell, giving you superior protection over the traditional, heavy and cumbersome motocross helmets. Designed for watercraft use, the Carbon 7 has built-in water drain vents, keeping the helmet light even after submersion, a specialized quick draining open air mesh liner for fast drying, easily interchangeable cheekpads so you can swap out dry pads inbetween motos, and breakaway polycarbonate rivets to avoid visor damage and causing the head to snap back by allowing the visor to come off easily upon impact. At the end of your ride, the single pull ratchet system allows for quick release of the helmet, even while wearing our ridiculously cool RS-15 Race Gloves. All this innovation in a 1200g package. Compared to 1800g, that's more protection per gram when compared to your traditional fiberglass motocross helmet.
