Default Discussion on See-Doo's

Hi Everyone. I am finally looking to purchase my own jet ski's. I found what I think to be a good deal. Two ski's; a 2000 GTI 650 and 1997 GTX 650 w/ trailer for $3,000. For an average adult weighing 180 do the 650's have enough power? I can't really find much info on the models to help with my decision. I will be riding solely in lakes. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

1997 GTX has the 787 motor. A fabulous power plant. They have 110 HP and are very smooth and last forever is maintained.

The 2000 GTI is actually the 717 motor which makes 85 HP. In the smaller X-4 2 seater hulls they are plenty powerful, never rode a GTI with this motor though. However for one person riding I'd imagine they will be ok.
