Default Chinese PWC's

Hi,
I am seriously considering purchasing a Chinese-made PWC for personal as well as rental usage. I have zeroed-in on 2 manufacturers -- Hison Jetski & Jiujiang Flit Co., does anyone have recent experience with any of these manufacturers?? I have seen unfavourable comments but these were posted in 2008 and I presume these 2 companies have rectified the faults pointed out... Do let me know

Tks

Default Buy a brand name PWC

Junk you should stay off from. You get what you pay for.

JUNK JUNK JUNK! There was a recent (within the past year) write up by someone that bought one and lived to regret it. Do a search. I can't remember if it was this forum or another. I've got a friend in Australia who says those brands show up every couple of years, people have many problems that they can't get fixed, then they go away for awhile. There was also a writeup on the web by someone that toured one of the factories in China. Quality was not good, and the company officials avoided all questions about warranty repairs. Maybe they have solved all their problems in the past 6 months, but I doubt it.

Just curious as to whether there is anyone who has bought one and what their thoughts and experience with it has been?

Everyone that posted after buying one said they are junk.

Plus, how would you ever get one fixed? There are no dealerships that I know of. If it breaks you are on your own. The warranty is meaningless.

Did you ever figure this out because even though I hear everyone rag them, I have not been able to find anyone that has bought them and used them. I would be interested to know for info sake. If they lasted one rental season and then were all sold for cheap that could be a good deal. I bought my wife a scooter and it was good for 2 years before I had to work on it. Please if you have personal experience with chinese pwc's let me know. Thanks

Andy
