Default JS550... Need some experienced advice

Hi all...

i have a js550 and am currently changing a few things on it before i transfer the motor to my new hull and need some advise on what is the best option...

i have a js550 piston port motor

A) Reed adapters that allow the use of reeds on the piston port motor... worth it or not... and what will adding reeds do..

B) i would like to fabricate my own exhaust system... does it need to have water cooling in the exhaust or just the motor... and is a big expansion chamber for bottom end or top end...

C) rear jet units i have herd that some people bore out the rear nozzle for more power... what are your thoughts on this and also the rear steering nozzle are there any mods available for this...

thanks a heap
