I just bought a 2005 Honda R-12 Aquatrax with a bad cdi box. . The part number is: 38770-HW3-673.

I did see one online for a 3 seater F-12 but am not sure if it would work. The part number on that one is 38770-hw1-691.

Does anyone know if it would work without getting error codes?

I just purchased this ski today knowing that it needed the cdi box. Before I buy one I will put the suspected bad one in with the new battery and see if I can get her started. If it in indeed bad how will I know. Will there be errors?

The only thing thats concernes me is one is supercharged and the other is naturally aspirated so the ignition curves might be different.
