Default Best replacement battery for Yamaha FX140?

Looks like I will be needing a new battery soon.

I saw this on Amazon and it has great reviews.
Amazon.com: Odyssey PC625 Powersports Battery: Automotive Amazon.com: Odyssey PC625 Powersports Battery: Automotive

I know nothing about batteries for these skis. I read that AGM batteries are good, but have no clue what they are.
Anyone out there have praise for the battery they are using?

2nd question. How many of you have a spare battery on your ski when you go out?

Thanks. Greg

Thats the one I am going to buy, I currently got 2 stock type batteries on the chargers for winter, and I wish I had not already just bought one of them, cause for $98.00 with no shipping if you are a prime member is a great deal, I might just go ahead and buy 2 of these anyway.
I know others on this forum swear by these batteries, and say they are very nice and very dependable, much better than the stock yamaha type batteries.

I just bought 2 of these Odyssey PC625 batteries on Amazon for $91.75 each.

Amazon.com: Odyssey PC625 Powersports Battery: Automotive Amazon.com: Odyssey PC625 Powersports Battery: Automotive

Looking at the pictures it looks like the terminals do not have nuts to tighten down on them? seems strange, is that normal?

Also I now have 2 good stock type batteries on chargers in my garage, anyone in the Charlotte NC area need a couple batteries for very cheap? Hate to just take them to the dump.

Yea that's a good deal at Amazon for the Odyssey.

It seems to depend on the vendor whether they include nuts or not with the battery. Pick up some stainless steel ones at the local hardware store.

Default NEWBE to PWC

Hello all,
Just signed on the sight and bingo, got answers to some questions. I just picked up a Tigershark Montego. It was free and we all know Nothing is for free. The last time it was run was 2007. It has be left outside uncovered since then. I plan to drain the oil and gas, clean the tanks and carb. Put in a new battery and see what happens. Can I use a 12 volt marine battery from my bgoat just for test? With gas orobly going to $5.00 up here it will be cheaper than running my boat.
Best to all.

Yep.........I'd pull the plugs and spray some fogging oil into the cylinders first, then turn it over by hand to distribute the oil before you try to start it.
