Default Ready to buy the 2012 GTXis 260 Ltd Edition and need opinions please.

Hi all,

New here. This is my first post.

I have read through quite a few pages and haven't really seem many opinions on the 2011 or 2012 GTXis 260 Ltd Edition.

Would really appreciate anything you have heard or experienced about this machine.

Cheers and thanks in advance,
Chris

Cool. Not too many people can afford to drop $17000 on a ski. That is why you don't see that many ride reports. Plus, I think that many guys looking at power skis will more often opt for the RXT rather than the GTX. You see a lot more RXTs, which share the engine, and I haven't seen any major issues on the newer models.

Only negatives I've heard have to do with the suspension (either it breaks, or makes the ski hard to ride in rough water). There may be a way to tighten it down on the new models, so that may not be a factor. Other thing I've heard is that the "is" skis are harder to work on (change oil, etc.), but that is not a factor unless you do your own maintanence.

Post a ride report and some photos once you put it in the water. Congrats!

Just like the Sea-Doo website says, its "The Yacht of Personal Watercraft". If you need everything there is to offer, this is the ski to get.

Suspension, brakes, big engine, reboarding step, plenty of storage, speed ties...everything.

Its like Ernest said though, most people just don't want to fork over the high dollars for them which is why you won't see many.
