Default Noob needs help

Hello to all,
Im a noob looking to buy either 2 skis or 1 big ski. Im interested in skis that would be a great fit for me. I am 6'5 275 (ex college ball player) im interested in a big ski that can tow me, fit me and a passenger (my women) and maybe pull a raft. I have been noticing the yam's and sea doo's. I know the difference between 2/4 stroke. So i will be going with the 4. For dependability. The thing is I would like some speed, as to I want room. Im not looking for the newest model mayb a 2003 or newer at the right price. I would prob, mix fresh and salt from time 2 time with the intercoastal. So can you guys give me help on what to look for when looking at used boats and what pwc would best fit me. If i do get 2 i would want something comprable that my g/f could handle and not be to scared on.
Please help me as much as possible and thanks for all your help. All the information I can get wold be much appreciated.

Yamaha FX HO 2005-2008 ($5-7K), speed around 58 mph will pull you and friend with no problems. Very stable, good on fuel, regular 87 octane, easy to maintain
Yamaha FX SHO 2008- ($8K +), faster at 65 mph, supercharged, burns more fuel, but still 87 octane
SeaDoo RXT or GTX 2006- (6k+) fast at 63-65 mph, supercharged (beware that prior to 2007 skis with ceramic washers on supercharger need to be changed to prevent serious engine damage).
