Default Negotiating with a dealer....

Im in the process of getting quotes for Yamaha's (FX-HO and VX Deluxe) is the Y.E.S. extended warranty something to be negotiated for...?? As in Ill take both if you throw in the 48 month extended, at least for one of them..?? Is it something that has been accomplished..?? or just wait until winter for better pricing/dealing....

Thanks all....

When I bought my 2 vx's I got more or less buy 48 month on one got the other 48 free, I also got 25% off yamaha waverunner starter kit (life jackets, dock fenders, ect...) as well as some other goodies cheaper than msrp. The point of my previous post (that I deleted) was when you spend that kind of money get all you can, anything is negotiable.

This is what was offered...2012 VX Deluxe a 2012 FX-HO, double trailer (Galvanized Continental) and 48 months YES for each, in addition to the year it come with...23,300.00...Im not sure I can get any better than this as I was pitting one dealer vs another..(The other 24,700 as described above)..
After all that, Im getting cold feet whether I want two or just the FX-HO..(My wife and I, no kids) as I would need to knock out a room I made in the garage for a double trailer...!!! (2 1/2 car garage)

Personal choice but I like the fact of 2 (also wife, me and no children) Wife in the ear on runner is worse than wife in a car Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me
msrp
vx deluxe-$9300
fx-ho-$12500
warranty is what $900 per runner for 48 month extension
New trailer is about $1000-1300 for double
That's $24600-$24900 retail
(but I don't know alot, only bought one set in life) I enjoy the site seeing ride but if I want to act a fool at the same time can't do so with her. I guess it depends on the wife. Best of luck with your choice. If you keep your room you can park the car in the drive way. just my 2 cents.Only you can make that choice.

It is a tough choice and have to ask your self if your going to get the use out of both.

Congrats on your purchase. Read all you can on the forums and in manuals as not to make any rookie mistakes ( you haven't said anything about experience) Enjoy your new toy.
