Yamaha Dealer told me approx 220 HP, now you know why it isn't on the brochure. Not very much for an 1800 cc supercharged

Yes--- which is why they last so long--- they are not being "stressed" like smaller motors making more horsepower (yet the other skis aren't any faster....). And it's easy to modify them to get lots more power and still have a very reliable ski.

Yamaha hasn't listed HP numbers for any of their skis for a number of years---they don't get caught up in the numbers game others are playing.

No stress issues here with 1500 cc supercharged motors including one that is modified to approx 300 hp it is as dependable as a stocker . Every Seadoo supercharged engine I have owned has never had any Engine problems from being a higher horsepower than Yamaha. But maybe that is because they are Austrian built engines from Europe like BMW and other fine European motors. BTW they are faster accelerating but all stock skis have GPS speed control to approx 68 mph

Also doesn't the letters "SHO" stand for Super High Output? Hmmm...lol
