Just out of curiosity, what are you going to use it for? I have thought about installing one too but it seems like whatever you see on the screen is way past you by the time you see it right? I installed a Garmin 172 C on my F-12X with the chart data chip. It tells me approx. depths according to the blue water chip. I have found this to work pretty good. (except on those nasty Oyster reefs that come up from nowhere).
