Default Broken Gasket??

Hi

So I took my machine in to get opened up for the summer, rode it for a total of 3hrs & 28min and now my machine is pooched. A screw snapped off the top of the manifold & two bolts fell out of the bottom close to the gasket. When they opened it up, they said that they found a broken gasket at the bottom of my boat, fixed it & put it back on. 3hrs later, the gasket broke and my machine is ruined. They have told me that this is characteristic of GTX sea doos, although I've had it for 6 years and nothing has ever happened. Has anyone heard of this happening? How do gaskets break? Would it cause the screws to come out? I'm just trying to get a little more insight into this problem....any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

you took your machine in to get opened up for the summer, what does this mean? You had it dewinterized?
what screw broke? intake/exhaust? what did "they" open up?
what gasket was in the bottom of the hull?
