Default What tools do I need?

I am going to buy a compression tester and torque wrench to do maintance on my jet ski's (1995 seadoo xp and 1997 yamaha waventure). Is there a certain kind of compression tester or torque wrench that i need? I don't want to have to buy something expensive just something to get the job done. And any other tools I might need to perform maintaince? I'm will probably attempt to rebuild my carbs soon.

I don't know about specific compression testers, but as fas as other tools get a big role of duct tape, and a big hammer. Just kidding, I hear the compression testers that screw in are the best

HA! Duct tape and a hammer sound bout right. As far as the screw in tester, I know they have different sizes. How do I know which one is the right one? I found a tester kit that has several different size adaptors.

X2 on the screw in type. I am pretty sure all 2 stroke PWC engines use the same plug thread hole size. 14mm if I remember right. I know both my Doo and Yamaha use the same exact spark plugs.
