Default Need Help

First time buying a watercraft and I'm having trouble pulling the trigger.

Is $12K a decent price for a '11 GTX 155...out the door price too (Taxes, etc., trailer, cover)??

I know the MSRP is just south of that, so I know it's less than that, but is it a deal too good to pass up? It's a little out of my price range so that's why I'm struggling w/ the decision. Seems like a good boat though.

TIA!

Default Good Price?

> Suggest calling around to different dealers for competitive pricing.
~Be sure you know the specs of all items when you do as you want to get pricing for like kind & quality. The size of the trailer wheels is a good example.
~Also, you don't mention if this is a new unit or one that has already been used. Obviously, this makes a big difference.
  • I'd also check the Internet.
  • You may find dealers with MUCH better pricing who are willing to ship Coast-to-Coast.
  • Just have a story ready when you need service from the local dealer about how you just moved there after buying it elsewhere!
  • Just a thought... if the cost isn't really at your comfort level, consider buying a used unit.
  • I purchased 2 thru eBay years ago & it worked out great. Just be sure you are near enough to view and water test the unit.
Good Luck

According to the dealer, it's a brand new '11, never used. Not sure if test driving is an option. I'll have to check. Seems like a good price, but possibly seems too good.

I've called around to several dealers and I was quoted a higher price for a Sea-Doo GTI 130. So, that's what makes the Sea-Doo GTX155 seem to be too good to be true.

Any/all thoughts are appreciated.
