Default Pulling a skier

Looking to improve performance pulling a skier with the 2003 Seadoo GTI LE. Some suggest OPAS block offs? What is that? What about changing the impeller? Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank You

Hey, the OPAS blockoff kit from RIVA is used most for perfomance increases. However you lose the off throttle steering assist. They are the flipper looking things on the back of the ski. They move with the handlebars. By eliminating them you reduce drag at the expense of a little off power control. You also take them off when you install thru-hull exhaust. As far as pulling a skier goes you are very limited on how large and how good the skier is. You risk losing control of your jet ski due to alot of side force yanking the stern around.

How much difference does the OPAS block off make? Do they make a different impeller? What about a different grate to increase water flow?
