Default Newbie Helper?

This place is a MAGNET for newb's. I'm curious how many one and done userID's are started strictly for purchase of a PWC and then never to return again oh unless they get into "Help! won't start".
I think we should add to the sticky for "newbie's read first" or start another one. It sure seems like most of the new questions would possibly be resolved with some sort of an explanation of what the models are.

Something like:
YAMAHA 3-seaters:

VX = Naturally Aspirated base motor very reliable very low fuel consumption. Slow and steady 55mph top speed.

VX Cruiser = VX with added "crusing" comforts.

FX HO= VX with bigger High Output motor still very reliable moderate on fuel consumption top speed. Also available in "cruiser" package.

FX SHO = FX HO with a supercharger on it. fast, likes fuel and more maintenace than the naturally aspirated ones.

AND ON DOWN THE LINE..................OR maybe it could start with a "V" in yamaha is basic. "F" is performance "X" means three seat, "Z" means 2 seater "HO" is the bigger motor, "SHO" is supercharged and "cruiser" means touring.

I know that when I was looking and new in the market not that long ago. I had one hell of a time biting off all the lingo. I bet Outlaw could regurgitate the SEADOO line and I bet Earnest could knock off YAMAHA in their sleep.
