Default New to forum - Old to PWCs

New to this forum. Into Sled & Marine Racing, JetBoats & PWCs since 65.
Currently run 2000 Polaris Pro 785 @ 66 mph.
New 300 Ultra is advertised @ 67 mph. Has it really taken 12 years to catch up to a PWC that's no longer in production?

Most of these modern high power models can do 75+ if the the manufacturers wanted them to. It's because of that stupid "gentleman's agreement" they have with the coast guard that castrates them to 67 mph. I don't get it, you can buy powerboats that do 100 mph and 185 mph motorcycles.

Wow I thought I was a older rider. Been snowmobiling since 1980, drag raced on ice, rode all thru New York state and Quebec St. Zenon, St. Michelle. My ski runs in the mid 70's. The 300 x is factory governed, more like 73 w/ govenor off. Skidoo and Seadoo thats I how I roll.

Thanx Guys.
Outlaw: I started real early. My Father owned a mower & marine biz and I had to work it at a very early age. Benefits were great though. Had my first boat at 10 and started racing professionally at 15. Had the opportunity to join a factory team at 17 but chose to go to university instead... idiot!
Just can't get it outa my blood
