Default NEWBIE.....Looking for recomendations on a ski...

Hello all....I'm new to the PWC world. I'm looking at purchasing one. My neighbor has one that he lets me use and I love it! Its a 1997 Seadoo XP. I'm in love with this machine. However, I'm looking for something both my GF and I can ride on together. I'm not sure the XP is the best ski for that. Both of us have a combined weight of about 330lbs. I would say my biggest concern is having something that both her and I can ride and handle comfortably but yet have the speed of the XP. I would also like something with a electronical adjustable trim.I'm looking to spend a coule grand. I'm not sure if i can get what I'm looking for for that price. Any input would be great...thank you

Get 97-99 Yamaha GP1200 or a 2000+ GPR. They are still 2 seaters but can handle a passenger better than an XP.
