Default Sea sick on a PWC?

I have been riding almost 15 years and today I got "sea sick" on my GPR for the first time ever. I was just sitting about 100 feet offshore trying to get my anchor line unknotted and kept looking down. All the while the lake was pretty rough and after about 3 or 4 minutes I got very nauseous and felt like vomiting. Had to call it a day after I started puking. Won't be doing that again.

that sucks, sorry to hear.
Glad you made it back to shore safely.

Why were you sitting with an anchor down?
Just wondering, I'm new.

Hope you feel better.

Thanks Rygdogg, yeah I'm back on solid land now and feel much better.

I was trying to get the anchor down to go swimming but it had a stubborn knot that I was trying untie and I kept looking down which I guess your not supposed to do when the water is wavy, you should keep your eyes level or focused on the horizon.

That sucks man. Its that rolling action when you stop that got to you. Looking down didn't help. I used to get sick after a scuba dive when I came up into rough rolling waves.........worst feeling in the world!

O,I see. good to know. Thanks for the heads up.
I was reading other posts and noticed a lot of people have anchors, I wasnt sure of the purpose of haveing one,(or where I could even put one on the ski) unless you leave your ski in the water over night or for long periods of time. Maybe if you lived on the water and didnt have a dock or something.

Swimming is the perfect reason to have one, I didnt even think of that.lol

Gald to hear your feeling better. : )
