Default Buffing out scratches???

Anyone have best thing to take out scratches.....I have tried compound and did a little but need something to take out little deeper scratces...scumbags stole my ski but I got it back. They threw it in back of truck and then dumped it and scratched the sides and bottom....any ideas greatly appreciated

I always use 3 M fine cut rubbing compound for fine scrathes and stains or films. Followed by Meguiars Ultimate Hydrophobic polymer wax.

Thanks Outlaw..I used that exact compound but not the Meguiars Ultimate Hydrophobic polymer wax...I didn't use any wax afterwards cause the compound did not get the scratches out. I was going to use a higher grade compound but afraid to go too harsh on it....don't want to use something that may damage the finish too bad ????
