Well here's some advise from a wise owl. Take it to a service dealer, let them tell you what it is. If you are mechanically incline to fix it then let him know you will hold off on the repairs, take it home and fix it yourself. Some Techs, if they don't get the permission to fix it will usually just give you your machine disassembled. This will save you the time of disassembly, you'll know exactly what to get working on, and you'll save money by avoiding the guessing game.
