Default rocks! now what

friend was riding my ski and beached it on the shore in pea gravel at idle. i dragged it and and drug it around a bit then started it. took a couple trys to start it but it started. loaded it up started it on the trailer for a few seconds shut it off and noticed there is some very small pieces of plastic. is there an easy way to check for more rocks in there before i start it again. what else should i do?

use a flashlight and look into pump from the back and crawl underneath and look in from the front. a long screwdriver will pry most out. you may have to remove the pump if you have large rocks wedged between you impeller and wearring. be sure that your cooling lines didnt get clogged.
