Hi guys. Im not new to pwc's. I have an '04 R-12X. I've only ridden freshwater (lake Travis in Austin, TX). I may be moving to Temecula, CA and I was looking for advice on ocean riding. I know all about the maintenance I need to do, basically the same I do now, flush, lubricate ect. I've never ridden in the ocean, is there anything extra I should take with me? Also, what about the misc. sea creatures? I know not to harass dolphins, seals ect but what should I look out for? So basically im looking for a list of do's and dont's when it comes to riding on the southern CA coast.

if your used to riding on choppy water then no difference. jumping waves is easier cuz you dont have to create or wait for them to come. just lookout for surfers and swimmers. i love the ocean ridin. lake ray hubbard is close on a windy day. weather is nice there. have fun!!! baldmeeny
