Default Need some Jet Ski help......

Hi all!

I need some advice. My jet ski will not turn over. It has all new battery, spark plugs, and a new starter. The problem is that all of the parts work independently, but not together... for example, the battery works, starter spins, and I can manually move the crank. nothing is stuck, can move the motor parts too but it just wont engage.

Any suggestions?? please help, thanks !

Sounds like a bad bendix.

Yea, the bendix is separate part unless you replaced it as well. The teeth get worn off and the starter motor can spin all day, and not engage the motor. The bendix (also called the idler gear) probably fails just as often as the starter motor. What model ski do you have?
