Installed new starter 05/2011, wouldn't start 08/2011, removed, wouldn't turn, had rust on the teeth and rust inswide after removing the top. Gaskets were new 05/2011. How do I prevent this in the future?
First time I saw this stuff was in a marine supply store. They had electric motors, and other electronic devices that had been sprayed with it running in a salt water aquarium.
