I just bought a 1994 Polaris 750sl. The Guy I bought it from eliminated the oil pump and we manually mix the fuel at 40:1. Took it out for the first time. My son following me on on the boat with the jet ski. Ran real nice. I anchored and we were gonna take turns running it. He pulled up to the back of the boat shut it off and began to dismount when some moroan comes by at half trottle in his boat throwing a 3ft wake. The nose of the jet ski came down hard on the boats swim platform but dod no damage to either. Went to start the jet ski and it would start then stall. Then nothing. Even drained the battery trying to start. It did act like it wasnt getting fuel. Towed it back slowly and when i got it home I noticed the reset button was up. So I pushed it in and had just enough juice it fired right up. Recharged the battery and all I get is a clicking from the solenoid. There wasnt alot of water in it so I doubt that was a problem. I may have a couple different issues. Can someone give me some idea's ? Im thinking I need to start with a starter. Thank you
