Default Honda Turbo Repair Wastegate

I'm determined not to trash a good turbo($2500 min) for a $75 wastegate actuator. Since Honda doesn't sell a stock wg actuator has anyone tried mod'ing another actuator onto the Honda Turbo? I can find similar "looking" units on-line for $50-150 bucks. If I purchase one for a similar size engine and turbo I would think the operating parameters would be pretty close. Any thoughts?

I have wondered if any of these would work. Check out this page. GT45 T4 FLANGE T66 TURBOCHARGER WET FLOAT 3.5 V-BAND items in dpt Motorsport Store store on eBay! . good luck.

Thanks Glock. I'm getting some help from H2Oxtreme. But these look promising as well. heck I could buy ten of these and try them all and still spend less than Honda wants for the stock item...

If it is an adjustable aftermarket wastegate actuator, read my posts on PWCTODAY.COM on how to adjust them. I like Ramon's aftermarket actuators.
