Kelly Blue Book list the F-15x aquatrax at $7260 retail. Hopefully there not asking more than that!

Just a little he wants $12,000.00 lol. I thought i read here somewhere if you found one of these you could get a good deal but $12,000.00 is way to much. I didn't even think to check kbb. I don't think he will even come close to this though. Thanks for the info.

These are really nice skis, but $12,000 is really high!!! Maybe print the page from KKB and see if the dealer will budge on the price. If they don't want to make deal, I would pass. There are plenty of good skis out there for reasonable prices! Good luck!

Pass on that, price is way too high. Offer $7,000 and see what happens,

I agree it's way to high i'll see if he will take less but i don't think he will budge. I did find a 04 used online mint with 160 hours on it is that high?

All you can do is try, the worst that can happen is they'll say no...

I found the same model/year at a dealership nearby. They were asking over 11,000. I sent them an email and offered $7000. The internet sales guy emailed me back explaining there was NO WAY they could take anything that low, that THEY had paid over 11k for it, so they were losing money.

I said, "Dude, I can't even insure it for more than 7k, why would I drive around with a $4,000 liability?! Good luck finding a sucker to pay thousands over blue book!"

These a**holes seem to think they can just magically stop the depreciation clock on these things and pass the loss onto you.

I'm sure it's still sitting there.

My local motor sports dealer recently had a new left over 2009 Honda CBR100rr sportbike that MSRP-ed for over $13k, just like the 2008 F-12x watercraft. They had it marked down to $8200! So it's true you can get a smoking deal on left over new-stock. You just have to be patient and keep looking.

I personally would love to find a new 2006-2008 Yamaha GP1300r.
