O3,fx-12.Im looking to have a new impeller/housing an intake grating put in my ski soon,
So im seeking info to assure that i get the best bang for the buck.
Is there any prop or grateing that out performs stock eqipment?
I have shopped around but none of what i have seen really seems better than the next! Also, while these items or disassembled, is there any maintenance r something else that should be done while im in there?

Cutting the #2 & #4 bars out of your stock grate is the fastest. Installing the Solas intake grate gives the best hookup. The best impeller is the Solas 17/29 from Macboost, Parkeryamaha.com or Iboats.com. Be sure and get the spline holder tool with it.

Thanks jax! I had to cut the 2 3 an 4 last year lol! (Ski rope) couldnt get my hand in there! You mentioned a spline tool, what is the purpose of it? Im intending to let a local dealer do the work, should they have one? Or is this a specific tool for my ski? If so im sure they dont. It seems no one realy knows much about these hondas. A near by dealer that once sold them stopped because of training issues and hondas rules and regs about the dealer can sale only hondas,
The nearest actual honda dealer is nearly 400 miles from me. I have to wonder should i just trade it in on a new one! In your opion, what makes should i be looking at? Yamaha, kawasaki. Those dealers are relatively close by.thanks for all your advise! Hope to hear back soon.

I would replace the through the hull plastic fittings for the cables at the pump. Ebay seller has them in machined aluminum. 12 bucks cheap peace of mind, if they fail the ski fills up with water real fast.
