Default How to set ignition code?

I just bought a used honda 06 f-12x without a manual. Can anyone tell me the steps to set up a code for the keyless ignition? Thanks.

Saw this on another forum, thought you might want to check into it.

Go to www.ahm-ownerlink.com . There you can sign up, plug in your HIN, and get access to the owners manual specific to your model FOR FREE. Its in PDF format and very easy to use. That is how I got mine before I even bought the ski. I asked the dealer for my HIN and once in hand plugged it into the website. You need to navigate the the menu once you enter it in. It will come up with a photo of your ski and service information/ manuals, etc. Good luck!

Ok, tell ya how. Take out the front storage bucket. Unplug the brown, i think, connector. Plug the lanyard in, re-set the code to 9999, unplug lanyard. Hook the brown connector back together. Try this, i just did it a week ago but I'll check again tomorrow to see if I'm right and post anything I find. Good luck.

Just a wild guess, but are you sure your computer settings were adjusted before you tried sending the info? Maybe try lowering your settings, try again, & let us know what happens.
