Hi,

I'm removing my intake grate for the first time on a 2004 Honda Aquatrax F12-X. What is required to do this. I removed the four intake grate holding bolts, do I just need to pull the grate down overcoming the silcone? I see a pin in the forward-center part of the intake grate. I cannot tell in the manual but I think the pin is for alignment and the intake grate should pull down, rear side tilted out first. Does this sound correct? Does the rear skid plat need to be removed?

BTW, I'm removing the skid plate to clear seaweed I have caught between the fwd and rear of the jet pump blade-housing.
