It's not so bad... They can start production again when the demands are there... meanwhile, selling the ones already built. You know what this does? It saves the resale value on the aquatrax in your garage.
It's not like you can't go and buy one... they are available for purchase, but Honda is not going to flood a hurting market and let them sell for dime-a-dozen. Makes the aquatrax even more precious.
Also, seeing that Honda is trying to protect the associate's jobs... it's commendable.
