It is a main cooling water outlet [when in the water running], don't move or restrict it or it will overheat.

Thanks The reason I wanted to move it is I keep mine on a floating dock and can not get to the flush. Would think Honda could of came up with a better idea. It's fine if your on a traier.

That makes a lot of sense. I have friends who left their on floating docks and the inability to flush and the salt air surrounding them destroyed them. I bought three F12Xs like that from a guy in Savannah that thoroughly trashed them on the end of his dock in two years time.
Maybe you can make a longer 1" hose with a reduced neck/clamp that would restrict the flow. Make sure it is running while you flush or you'll push water into the engine.

I guess I'll go see my Honda mechanic and see if we can't increase the hose size as to not restrict flow, add a tee and a shut off valve behind it again thanks for all the help

I would suggest pulling it out and flushing it, and inspect your ski, always a good idea to protect your investment. Wouldn't ya think? Also grease the bearing and wash well so you don't get corrosion. Just my opinion.

Thanks
I wash and flush every time I use the ski's. But with the rear flush I now have to wade out waist deep to flush them. With my old yamaha's all I had to do is lift the seat and plug into the built in quick connect. It's nice to have the ski's here at the house instead of having to go 5 miles to a ramp.

Is this salt water? Fresh water does not need a flush very often.
