We try to be very careful who gets the info on ID code reset, since they might not be the 'ski's owner and looking to snatch it off of someone's dock.

A simple google search of Aquatrax lock reset yields the above unlock instructions posted above. Not exactly a secret. I was hoping someone might have their manual handy, as I left mine at home, and let me know what the default code was if there was one(meaning the factory code before one was set by the owner). I was apprehensive to mess with wiring. But I got it done in the end.

Thanks anyway for the help detective

Sorry if I upset you with my comment. I am not a detective, just someone who enjoys his Jetskis, and try to learn from this forum, and that is a lesson, I do not agree to give away how to reset the security code (I know that you probably find it in the web), but that is my oppinion, and I respect yours.

Pepe....I understand where your coming from. Miami is one of my favorite cities (well South Beach anyway.) I used to dock my ski at the Flamingo on the bay side when I was there for a few months. I also understand that in that town if property isnt bolted to something immovable, consider it gone. I can understand your point of view.

I was not offended, more annoyed because I need help with a problem and I have people talking about reasonable suspicion. And just a FYI, I was able to bypass that lock system in less then 5 minutes. Besides, most(not all aka joy riders) PWC thefts happen on the trailer sitting outside. At least in my neck of the woods.
