Default wrong gas

help i put the wrong gas in our new honda aquatrax. anyone done this and if so what happens? put in regulr not prem.

Nothing. A lot of people run regular not premium. I like to run premium, but the owners manuel calls for 87 or better, at least on my SX-R

P10 is right. Just put in premium next time you fill up. The engine is electronically controlled and compensates for too low of octane. I wouldn't constantly run it on regular though.

Just run it down some and add premium to it as it empties. Or buy a bottle of octane boost and add some to raise octane. That is what I do if I have to gas up on water in my 2006 RXT because it has to have premium due to the mods.

Honda say if you have to run low octane, keep it below 5K RPM.

Octane Boost / You will probably foul the plugs and use good gasoline too IE: Chevron/Texaco (same company) or Shell sell good quality gas
