I had a sea doo years ago, before marriage, and now I'm thinking about getting back in. When I got out Honda was just getting in and I was tempted to get one then but decided that I had other needs. My question is, is there a particular year or model to stay away from? I have a friend that ha a '06 turbo that is thinking about selling. Are these good? anything to look for? Any info would be very helpful.

Your begging for trouble unless you are a Honda mechanic. You know that Honda dropped their Jet ski line in 2009. Now Honda dealers don't want work on them and parts are expensive and limited. Next turbo Hondas have an inherrent problem with their waste gates sticking open or shut due to corrsion. You have to lube the actuator rod every time you ride it. Most owners don't do that thus passing on a bad ski. The bad thing is it is intermittent. I would stay away and buy a Seadoo.
