2005 Honda R12x port side rub rail falling off - PWC Forum: The best hang-out for Personal WaterCraft enthusiasts

Please help, I walked up to my honda yesterday and noticed the port side rub rail spliting apart in three pieces from the vessel. Any one with clues or information as to why this happened? Can this be fixed on vessel or do we need to buy new rub rail for all the way around?

The side rubrails have a slide in insert that covers the rivets. The rub rails are about 7-8 seperate pieces and about 22 plugs.
