Default Total Loss of Power while riding on 2006 Turbo HELP!!

While riding I did a sharp turn and swung the tail end of the Honda Around. After this the Honda just died. It will turn over but will not start or idle. Up until this point the only problem I had was that the low fuel warning system would come on and I would hold the mode button until it would not beep anymore. The ski would seem to idle a little rough then getting up to speed it would hesitate then go now I have nothing. I did check all the fuses in the box and all seem good. I pulled the plugs and had them looked at and they look fine. There is plenty of fuel in the tank. This is where I’m at. 50 hrs on the ski. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is quite possible the main relay has gone bad. Did you check to see if the fuel pump runs when the laynard is plugged in or if the plugs are firing when it is turning over. Try a new set of plugs from Advanced Auto Parts $11 each.

Whe I put the Laynard in all it ever does is just beep twice then i push the start button and it ususally starts up I have never heard a fuel pump engage before the start . What would be the best way to check the plugs for firing? As far as the relay is there any way to check that? I did unplug it but i belive there is no fuse in it.

I checked and i have spark with all the spark plugs. I pulled off the number one plug wire and put all of them though the test and i get spark out of all of them. Should i still replace them?

Do you hear the fuel pump run for about 7-8 seconds? If not it is a bad main relay or a blown 7.5 amp fuse. The fuses sometime blow when the wiring harness rubs through at the front of the red valve cover.

jrinjax - That was a good lesson on the harness wasn't it. I've had a few now I've seen do this.
As to Graybar, listen for the fuel pump to kick in, I dought you would burn up the fuel pump but its possible, The fuel does help to cool the pump just like car pumps do . so don't run it low.
