Default So Sad

Tomorrow will be the last ride of the year for me. Between work and travel, I wouldn't be able to get out to the lake until the end of Sept. So away they go.

What about indian summer?? We go till the end of October, but we are hard core. Skis run their best in cool weather. So you wear a short sleeve shirt under your vest and add a pair of Board shorts with a neoprene liner and crocks. Off you go. But I snowmobiled for 23 years.....

I'm with Outlaw, too early to throw in the towel until next spring. Last season my last ride was in early November, but that's pushing it. Mid or Late Oct is usually as late as I go. Unless I finally get a dry suit, then the ice is the limit.

Get a wet suit! I scuba dive, so I wear mine in the winter. As long as the sun is out I ride my stand up year round. I like having the whole lake to myself

If I didn't deer hunt, I would probably keep them out a little longer, but it's time for my "other" hobby.

Deer season doesn't last all winter. Get a 7mm suit and some 7mm boots. You could even go with a 3 if you don't get in the water a lot
