Default Anchoring your jet ski

I use my 2005 STX-12F for fresh water lake fishing and anchor it once the fish finder tells me to.
The question I have is what would cause the jet ski to not start or be really hard to start after being anchored for a while? Any thoughts? I do have the muffler by-pass from Riva.

Smile Anchoring your ski

Hi I just bought one of These and I think what you are talking about is the " environmental issue " , well that's what they call it here in new Zealand . The ski tech here said it is common with this ski and is dim
Moisture on the plugs from
Water/ moisture traveling up the exhaust . I may be wrong or not explained it properly but that's what I was told . I've had it do it to me once , I use it for fishing , but did start after about ten seconds of winding er over . Hope this helps.
