Default What model and year?

Hello all I was just given this jetski and was wondering maybe someone could identify it? I know it's a Kawasaki and the engine has TC-530b-GS00 on it. Some info would be great so I could get started on getting this ready for the water.

Hope this is enough to help someone identify it.

Looks like there has been some mods done to it, the exhaust, head, air cleaner, jet intake and plate under water jet all seem to be after market?

Any help would be great!
Thanks,
Mike K.

I have no idea what model & year.
Look for a "transom plate" somewhere around the rear edge. Also look under the battery box for an info plate. Most ski's made in the 80's or newer had these plates. The manufacturer, year and model were sometimes easily deciphered, but sometimes were coded a bit.
Good luck.

I wish I could answer this one for you but I haven't seen a jet ski like that out on the water in a loooooong time.

It looks like an early 80's 440. It has a head, intake, and half pipe though. They are really easy to get going

I believe your ski is a 1986 Kawasaki JS550. The first year the exhaust exited on the right side and was red like an 85. What is the hull id number? Should be able to find out exactly with that. Looks like a nice ski though!
