Default Converting a zxi 1100 to premix

I have a 1998 Kawasaki zxi 1100 and I want to convert it to premix. I order the oil block off kit. So do I remove the oil pump and the tank and installed the block off plate? Also I guess I have to block off the oil injection line too. Is there a fuse I need to remove for the oil injection? Do I need to re-jet the carbs? Thank you for the help

Did the oil injection fail? They are usually pretty bullet proof.

i dont know much about it but i do know that if u mix at the same ratio the oil injection system was mixing at, u dont have to rejet ur carbs. and the oil pump is not electric, its mechanical. im sure someone more familiar with ur make can chime in.

The oil injection did not fail. I just wanted some peace of mind. And for an $11 part, I'm not worried about intalling it. Just looking on some info on what needs to be done to convert it. Can't find anything online. I saw people are pre-mixing at 40:1 or 50:1. Is that right?

Yep 40-50:1 would be a good mix.

I block off all my customers ski's. Up at the top end running hard I just don't trust them. Get to jumping and bouncing around and get a air pocket or any hick up in the system and you will burn a engine.
