alright so this is my first time on here. a while back my grandpa bought a kawasaki 440 that was professionally built off the showroom floor in 81 i think?? i am not sure the year. what i do know is that it use to run 40-42 mph depending on how much i had for breakfast.
now, it just seams down on power and i am lookin for a little more power.
my curriousity has made me think about doing a 750 or a 650 swap in it?
if i did this, what would i have to do to the pump? impeller? scoop? anything done to the hull?
i am pretty handy with a tool so i am pretty confident.
i am just use to workin on big engines not jet skis. so, i dont really know much about them.
how much money am i lookin at to do one of these conversions? is it hard or is it as easy as i am thinkin it is?
any input would be great? also any threads that you guys know about would be great too.
