Hey everyone, new poster here...

My 92 750sx wont stay running. I have to cover the intake to get it to start and once it starts I have to keep it revved up or else it will bog down and die.

I'm not sure if its a carb, fuel, or stater issue. I'm mixing my gas 40:1, compression is good, and I'm getting a spark on both plugs when I take them out and set them on the engine.

Any ideas on what it could be?

sounds like either your idle set screw or pilot jet is too low. Btw you should never be revving the engine like that when it is out of the water, it could do some serious damage. It's fine if you rev it up high really quick if you have a hose hooked up but don't keep doing it or holding it there.
